This project depicts the different life stages of old people with other hobbies after retirement. My inspiration comes from staying at home for a long time during the epidemic, and I enjoy the life of staying at home every day. Therefore, I began to look forward to and imagine my happy life after retirement. Sometimes, I often see some people posting on social media, arguably accusing their parents of not helping them take care of their children. In this regard, the majority of netizens have justly criticized them. So I decided not to let my parents spend their time looking after my children but to do what they love. At the same time, I also hope that when I am old, I will actively enjoy life and live for myself.

In China, many people have dedicated their whole lives to their children. After their children become adults, they have to worry about their children's life and work. Even if they reach retirement age, they still have to help their children take care of their grandchildren. Few old people would have the chance to pursue their hobbies, such as raising cats, pursuing love, collecting antiques, and playing video games. Children and the other people around them may judge even those tiny hobbies. So I created eight life scenes of elderly people with different preferences who enjoyed themselves. I want to use this series to encourage those elderly who have been busy all their lives with their children to think for themselves. I want to tell them that life has many possibilities. They have the right to pursue what they love bravely and enjoy their later life happily.
